Shadows, they have been long lost,
In the darkness, their image was closed,
And thus the bottomless river in which they drowned,
Enriches the fields that I have found.
And soon only whispers have left to stay.
The words now wonder craving,
Seeking chaos within you.
Sand like skin, I've fallen empty,
As spring forces through.
Upon this river, I've began to remember,
Why the shadows had made me surrender;
I've still heard their voices while resting in grey,
And the voices wrapped the soul in cold and endless pain.
And soon only whispers have left to stay,
And drain of what has left from my weak and gentle ways.
Only whispers have left to stay...
Upon this river, I've began to remember,
Why the shadows had made me surrender;
I've still heard their voices while resting in grey,
And the voices wrapped the soul in cold and endless pain.
