Bluebird flying, but nobody sees you till you’re down on the ground.
Bluebird trying, but it doesn’t matter clouds are circling round.
Pushing you down into a circle of ashes.
Ashes from the shell of an egg.
Thunder circles round and it crashes.
Lightning bolts fall and you beg:
“Please, please, please, I’ll do what you want.
I’ll do what you say, and I won’t ever stop.
I’ll always obey, and I won’t even talk.
I won’t learn to fly, and I won’t learn to walk.”
